All regional History Day competitions follow the same rules and regulations as the National History Day competition.

For Students in Grades 6-12
Registration deadline: Sunday, March 5, 2025
Registration Fee: $10.00/student
Judging Criteria
Historical Quality (80%)
- Historical accuracy
- Historical context
- Analysis and interpretation
- Use of available primary sources
- Wide research
- Balanced research
Clarity of Presentation (20%)
- Presentation, written materials are original, clear, appropriate, organized, and articulate
- Entry is organized; visual impact is appropriate to the topic
